Will I be successful in my D7 renewal without my residence card?

My husband and I are due our renewal in March 2025 but havent received our residence cards since our D7 visa application was approved in March 2023. We have the paper receipt with some type of card on the photocopied paper. Will this be ok? I have emailed AIMA approx 10 times and wrote a letter. Also unable to obtain a NISS. We have been rejected twice, once due to not having our residence card and the other reason because we havent got proof that we have been rejected for a renewal by AIMA.
